- This policy applies to all services booked through cityrepairs.in, phone, WhatsApp, or in-person appointments.
- It covers service cancellations, refund eligibility, and non-refundable cases.
- It applies only to Cityrepairs and not to third-party websites or partners linked externally.
2. Booking Cancellations by Customers
We offer flexibility for customers to manage their bookings.
- Free Cancellation Window: Bookings can be canceled up to 2 hours before the scheduled service time without any charges.
- Late Cancellations: If a cancellation request is made within 2 hours of the scheduled service, visiting charges may apply to compensate for technician dispatch.
- No-show by Customer: If a technician arrives at the service address but is unable to complete the work due to customer absence, wrong address, or refusal of service, the visiting fee will be charged and is non-refundable.
3. Cancellation by Cityrepairs
While we strive to honor every booking, in rare circumstances we may have to cancel or reschedule:
- Technician unavailability due to emergency or health concerns.
- Unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather, strikes, or safety concerns.
- Incomplete or incorrect booking details provided by the customer.
In such cases, customers will be offered either:
A full refund of any advance payment, OR
A rescheduled appointment at no extra cost.
4. Refund Policy
Refunds are applicable under the following conditions:
- Advance Payments: If you cancel a service within the free cancellation window, your advance will be fully refunded.
- Service Not Delivered: If a booking is canceled by Cityrepairs before technician arrival, a full refund will be issued.
- Service Failure: In rare cases where we cannot repair the appliance and no work is completed, only visiting charges (if applicable) will be deducted, and the remaining balance refunded.
Refunds will not be provided under the following conditions:
- Customer changes their mind after the service is completed.
- Appliance issues arise from pre-existing hidden damage not disclosed during booking.
- Appliance failure occurs due to customer misuse or negligence after service.
- Any warranty claim refusal due to non-compliance with warranty terms.
5. Spare Parts and Non-Refundable Items
- Charges for spare parts once installed are non-refundable, as these are purchased and fitted specifically for your appliance.
- In case a spare part is defective, it will be replaced under warranty, but no cash refund will be provided.
- If a customer cancels the service after a spare part has been ordered or dispatched, the cost of the part will be deducted from the refund.
6. Refund Timeline & Process
- Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7 working days from the date of cancellation confirmation.
- Refunds will be issued via the same payment method used during booking (e.g., UPI, bank transfer, card).
- Customers will receive a confirmation email or WhatsApp message once the refund is initiated.
7. Rescheduling of Services
Instead of canceling, customers may opt to reschedule their service.
- Rescheduling requests made at least 2 hours before service time will be free of cost.
- Requests made within 2 hours of scheduled time may incur visiting charges.
- Rescheduling is subject to technician availability.
8. Service Warranty & After-Service Support
- Specific repairs and spare parts may come with a limited service warranty, details of which will be mentioned on your invoice.
- Warranty covers only the exact issue repaired or part replaced, not unrelated problems.
- If an appliance develops the same problem within the warranty period, free service or replacement will be provided.
- Refunds will not be issued for warranty claims — instead, repair/replacement support will be offered.
9. Dispute Resolution
In case of any disputes regarding cancellations or refunds:

- We aim to resolve disputes amicably within 5 working days.
- If disputes cannot be resolved, they will be subject to legal jurisdiction under Gurgaon, Haryana courts.
10. Governing Law
This Refund & Cancellation Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any legal proceedings arising from disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of Gurgaon courts.
